Established in 1989,

the Higuchi Biosciences Center is a center of centers engaged in biomedical research at the University of Kansas. As a designated research center of the KU Center for Research (KUCR), the Higuchi Biosciences Center seeks to enhance the environment for interdisciplinary, basic research. To that end, the Center provides research support and administers funds from a variety of sources, including the NIH, NSF, industrial partners, and private foundations.

Maine. The facility provides a superior environment for information technology development and commercialization activities. In addition to the Incubator, the facility houses University of Maine researchers and private sector technology firms. The Incubator provides developing firms with the space, support services and resources necessary to become successful. The facility was developed by the Bangor Target Area Development Corporation in partnership with the University of Maine. This center is one of seven centers in Maine designed to assist firms engaged in technology related activities.

The Mississippi State University High Performance Computing Collaboratory (HPC2),

an evolution of the MSU NSF Engineering Research Center (ERC) for Computational Field Simulation, is a coalition of member centers and groups that share a common core objective of advancing the state-of-the-art in computation science and engineering using high performance computing; a common approach to research that embraces a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented concept, and a commitment to a full partnership between education, research, and service. Our centers include the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS), the Center for Computational Sciences (CCS), the Center for DoD Programming Environment and Training (PET), the Geosystems Research Institute (GRI), and the Northern Gulf Institute (NGI).
