Uniquely interdisciplinary teams of molecular biologists,chemists, physicists and engineers from UCSB, MIT and Caltech, along with partners from Industry and the Army, seek to understand biological mechanisms and to develop advanced sensors, electronic, optical and magnetic materials, information processing techniques and network control systems. |
